Hi, I’m David Alan Deaton, founder of Mid Michigan Medicare. My mission is simple: to be the go-to expert resource for every eligible Medicare beneficiary in the Mid Michigan area and beyond.

I started this business because I saw too many people getting lost in the shuffle with call centers and high-pressure “phone pirates.” Medicare and health coverage can be complicated, and decisions about your health and finances shouldn’t be left to someone who doesn’t know you—or the networks and providers right here in Lansing.

That’s why I’ve dedicated my career to helping people make confident, informed choices. While I specialize in Medicare, I also offer ACA Marketplace plans so I can assist those who aren’t yet Medicare-eligible—such as younger spouses and families who need the right coverage options until Medicare kicks in.

Over the years, I’ve had the privilege of guiding thousands of Mid Michigan residents through their healthcare decisions. I focus on building long-term relationships, offering face-to-face service, and being there year after year—not just during enrollment season.

Outside of work, I’m deeply rooted in the Lansing community. You might find me golfing, serving through the Kiwanis Club, or spending time with my wife, Dolly, and our four kids—Abigail, Judah, Evelyn, and Lorenzo. We recently bought a new home in Lansing, and when we’re not fixing it up, we love Michigan’s lakes, time outdoors, and connecting with our church family.

At the heart of it, this isn’t just about insurance—it’s about people. It’s about making sure my neighbors and their families are taken care of, so they can focus on living life, not worrying about their coverage. That’s why I do what I do.
